Nestled in the heart of the East End Cultural District, Wonky Power opened its doors in 2014 as a vibrant hub for local musicians and producers to create, perform, and thrive.

Founded by music producers Elizabeth S. Rodriguez and Mario A. Rodriguez, this Latino-owned music agency has been serving the Houston community since its inception. Together, they have fostered the growth of Wonky Power with a dedicated team and a supportive community.

Over the years, this independent outfit has earned acclaim and forged strong relationships with some of Texas' most influential creatives. The space buzzes with energy as regional and local bands, concert enthusiasts, and creatives flock to it, contributing to the cultivation of a historically diverse and artistic community. Within its first year, Wonky Power garnered accolades such as "Best New Enterprise" and "Best Record Label." Subsequently, it solidified its position as Houston's premier booking agency for local bands and musicians. As Wonky Power continues to expand, it attracts national and international acts to grace events, festivals, and venues across Houston. Since its inception, Wonky Power has produced over 1000 events and concerts, recorded more than 100 bands and musicians, and filmed numerous live shows.
